The band website template can be used by any band, and was created in mind for ease of maintenance. I developed a website for my band a few years ago, and it has mostly been set it and forget it. The guys in my band were not computer programmers, and I wanted them to be able to update the site without having to muck around in html, javascript, php, or sql. The site is totally maintainable from a UI to a mySql database. Its features include automated booking, fan registry, events and news with automatic expiration, event history, media downloads, song list, and even a cron job that links to the schedule that sends out emails notifying your base of your upcoming gigs.
